More about this service in Dubai
An outdoor kitchen in Dubai is only as useful as the shade over it. Built-in counters, a grill, a sink with a water connection, storage and a fridge are the usual elements, but without cover the whole thing sits unused from May to September. We design the kitchen and the structure above it as one scope so the posts do not land where you need to stand and the services reach where they are needed.
Material choice is unforgiving here. Marine-grade stainless steel is worth the difference near pools and on coastal plots, because cheaper grades pit and rust within a season in salt air. Worktops want stone or porcelain rather than laminate, and cabinetry needs a powder-coated or marine-ply construction rather than anything that swells with humidity.
Plumbing and electrical routing is what dictates where the kitchen can realistically go, so it is settled early rather than after a layout has been agreed. On an existing terrace the other constraint is whether the slab takes the load, which we check at the site visit.
Outdoor kitchens are usually built as part of a wider terrace scheme alongside hardscape and outdoor structures, with lighting designed in from the start. See landscaping if the kitchen forms part of a full garden build.
Pool and water feature questions
Built-in counters, a grill or cooking area, sink and water connection, storage, and usually a fridge. The shade structure over it matters as much as the kitchen itself, because an unshaded outdoor kitchen is unusable half the year.
Stainless steel of a marine grade near pools and the coast, stone or porcelain worktops rather than laminates, and powder-coated cabinetry. Cheap stainless pits and rusts here within a season, particularly with salt air.
Yes for a sink and any appliances. Routing those is the part that dictates where the kitchen can go, so it is decided early rather than after the layout is agreed.
Usually yes. The constraints are getting services to the position and whether the existing slab takes the load. Both are checked at the site visit.
Yes, normally as one scope. See outdoor structures and pergolas and gazebos, which are designed together with the kitchen so posts do not land where you need to stand.
