Description
Short Box Shaped Dark Planter is a squared floor container in a dark finish, built low and wide so it sits flush against a wall or in a row.
Four heights are offered, 31cm, 37cm, 44cm and 52cm, with prices from AED 230 to AED 550.
Square containers dry unevenly in this climate. Corners hold the smallest soil volume and have wall on two sides, so under Gulf sun the soil in each corner dries days ahead of the middle. A plant sited off centre ends up with half its roots in dry ground.
How to use the Short Box Shaped Dark Planter
Plant centrally and water the corners deliberately rather than pouring into the middle. Check drainage at the base and lift the planter on pads if it stands on a finished floor. The flat sides make this shape stable in balcony wind and easy to line up, though a filled box is heavy, so set the position first.
Where the Short Box Shaped Dark Planter works best
Run two or three in a line to divide a terrace, edge a pool deck or screen a seating area. Planted with screening and shade plants for outdoor spaces, a row becomes a soft barrier.

Less soil sits in each corner and it is bounded by two heated walls, so moisture leaves those pockets first.

Watering:
Water your plant once a week or when the soil starts to feel slightly dry on the surface. Keep the soil consistently moist, but be careful not to overwater, as this can cause brown spots and leaf drop. If the leaves become curly or dry, it's a sign that the plant needs water. It's best to water your plant in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler. Always check the soil before watering.
Light:
Provide bright indoor light or indirect sunlight for about 6 to 8 hours a day.
Temperature:
Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid exposing the plant to drafts, as these can cause undesirable temperature fluctuations. Mist the plant occasionally, about twice a week, to help maintain optimal humidity levels.
Fertilizer:
Apply liquid fertiliser every 15 days when the plant is actively growing. For best results, use Folikraft ready-to-use Indoor Plant Food.
