Description
Dracaena Dragon Tree is an upright Dracaena grown as a woody stem topped with thin, arching leaves edged in red.
Two heights, 80cm and 120cm, from AED 100 to AED 350 across the size and pot choices. Nursery pot as standard, ceramic pot on request.
Thin leaves lose water quickly, so a plant kept in a sealed Dubai apartment with the cooling running all summer shows strain first at the leaf tips. Salts in local tap water gather in the compost and speed that browning, which is why flushing the pot matters here.
How to care for Dracaena Dragon Tree in the UAE
Bright light near a window, shaded from midday sun. Water when the top half of the pot is dry, and monthly run water through until it drains freely to flush salts. The common failure is tip burn from hard water.

Is the Dragon Tree safe around cats and dogs?
No. Dracaena foliage is toxic to cats and dogs if chewed, and cats are drawn to the thin leaves. Keep it out of reach.
Why are the leaf tips turning brown and dry?
Usually mineral build up from tap water, sometimes dry air. Flush the pot monthly and trim the tips along the leaf taper.
Plants Care
Watering:
Water your plant once a week or when the soil starts to feel slightly dry on the surface. Keep the soil consistently moist, but be careful not to overwater, as this can cause brown spots and leaf drop. If the leaves become curly or dry, it's a sign that the plant needs water. It's best to water your plant in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler. Always check the soil before watering.
Light:
Provide bright indoor light or indirect sunlight for about 6 to 8 hours a day.
Temperature:
Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid exposing the plant to drafts, as these can cause undesirable temperature fluctuations. Mist the plant occasionally, about twice a week, to help maintain optimal humidity levels.
Fertilizer:
Apply liquid fertiliser every 15 days when the plant is actively growing. For best results, use Folikraft ready-to-use Indoor Plant Food.
