Ceramic Low Pot (Black) is a wide, shallow glazed pot in plain matt black, stocked in the larger sizes for established plants. Options are Height 20cm x 20cm, 25cm x 25cm and 30cm x 30cm, priced between AED 40 and AED 80.
Fired ceramic keeps its shape at 45C where thin plastic softens and warps, and the glazed wall stops moisture wicking out sideways. Indoors that becomes a drawback, because air conditioning cools the room while the sealed pot holds water, and soil stays damp for days.
How to use the Ceramic Low Pot (Black)
Match the plant to the shape. A low wide pot gives surface area rather than depth, which suits shallow rooted plants better than anything with a long taproot. Plant while the pot is still empty and light, because the larger sizes are awkward to lift once filled.

Is the 30cm size heavy once planted?
Ceramic is substantially heavier than plastic, and soil adds more. Position the pot where you want it before filling, and use a trolley if it must move.
Can ceramic crack in direct sun?
Glazed ceramic handles heat well. Cracks usually come from knocks or from being dropped, not from sun exposure on a Dubai balcony.
Plants Care
Watering:
Water your plant once a week or when the soil starts to feel slightly dry on the surface. Keep the soil consistently moist, but be careful not to overwater, as this can cause brown spots and leaf drop. If the leaves become curly or dry, it's a sign that the plant needs water. It's best to water your plant in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler. Always check the soil before watering.
Light:
Provide bright indoor light or indirect sunlight for about 6 to 8 hours a day.
Temperature:
Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid exposing the plant to drafts, as these can cause undesirable temperature fluctuations. Mist the plant occasionally, about twice a week, to help maintain optimal humidity levels.
Fertilizer:
Apply liquid fertiliser every 15 days when the plant is actively growing. For best results, use Folikraft ready-to-use Indoor Plant Food.
