Livistona Palm Tall is a floor standing fan palm supplied at one mature height, so it fills a corner on the day it arrives.
It measures 140cm and costs AED 294, in a nursery pot that drops inside a decorative cover pot.
At this height the crown sits in the warm layer of air that collects near a villa ceiling, even with the cooling on. Fronds held up there lose water faster than the roots replace it, so the pot needs checking more often than a short palm in the same room.
How to care for Livistona Palm Tall in the UAE
Give it bright filtered light behind a sheer curtain. Water once the top five centimetres dry, roughly weekly in summer and every ten to fourteen days in winter. Most losses here come from compost kept wet inside an undrained cover pot, which rots the stem bases.

No. The stems support themselves. Rotate the pot a quarter turn fortnightly so the crown stays even rather than leaning toward the light.
Plants Care
Watering:
Water your plant once a week or when the soil starts to feel slightly dry on the surface. Keep the soil consistently moist, but be careful not to overwater, as this can cause brown spots and leaf drop. If the leaves become curly or dry, it's a sign that the plant needs water. It's best to water your plant in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler. Always check the soil before watering.
Light:
Provide bright indoor light or indirect sunlight for about 6 to 8 hours a day.
Temperature:
Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid exposing the plant to drafts, as these can cause undesirable temperature fluctuations. Mist the plant occasionally, about twice a week, to help maintain optimal humidity levels.
Fertilizer:
