Description
Tabebuia Rosea is a seasonal flowering tree that opens pink trumpet shaped flowers across the canopy, priced by trunk calibre as well as height.
Stocked at 150cm to 200cm, 250cm to 300cm in thin and thick trunk versions, and 350cm to 400cm with a thick trunk, AED 250 to AED 1,050.
Trunk thickness is the attribute that matters in UAE planting. A thicker trunk at the same height means an older tree that establishes faster after transplant and flowers sooner, and the first season after planting is what decides whether a tree of this size survives the transition.
How to care for Tabebuia Rosea in the UAE
Full sun and free draining soil. Water consistently through the establishment period, then reduce as the roots deepen. It is deep rooted once settled and needs less frequent watering than its canopy suggests.
Where it works best
As a feature tree with space for the canopy, positioned where the seasonal display is seen. Above roughly 3 metres, delivery and planting are carried out by our team on site. The other feature flowering trees are grouped under flowering trees and ornamental shrubs.

What is the difference between thin trunk and thick trunk at the same height?
Age. The thick trunk tree is older, establishes faster after planting and flowers sooner, which is why it costs more at the same height.
When does Tabebuia Rosea flower?
It produces one concentrated pink display rather than flowering continuously, and stays green the rest of the year.
Plants Care
Watering:
Water your plant once a week or when the soil starts to feel slightly dry on the surface. Keep the soil consistently moist, but be careful not to overwater, as this can cause brown spots and leaf drop. If the leaves become curly or dry, it's a sign that the plant needs water. It's best to water your plant in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler. Always check the soil before watering.
Light:
Provide bright indoor light or indirect sunlight for about 6 to 8 hours a day.
Temperature:
Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid exposing the plant to drafts, as these can cause undesirable temperature fluctuations. Mist the plant occasionally, about twice a week, to help maintain optimal humidity levels.
Fertilizer:
Apply liquid fertiliser every 15 days when the plant is actively growing. For best results, use Folikraft ready-to-use Indoor Plant Food.
