Description
Grey Gravel is a neutral toned landscaping stone supplied in 20 Kg bags, graded so you can order one consistent stone size for a defined area instead of guessing.
Grades available are 0.5 cm, 1cm to 2cm and 2cm to 4cm, priced from AED 16 to AED 20 per bag. Ordering by bag weight makes quantities easy to work out.
Dark aggregate absorbs Gulf sun rather than bouncing it back, and a grey bed in full afternoon exposure gets genuinely hot to the touch. That helps against a wall, where it holds no glare, but makes it a poor choice for bare feet.
How to care for Grey Gravel in the UAE
Spread it about 4cm to 5cm deep over a weed membrane, and top up every couple of years as stone settles into the sand beneath. Most grey installations disappoint because the membrane was skipped, and sand and weeds come through from below.

How much do I need per square metre?
At a 5cm depth, budget four to five 20 Kg bags per square metre. Order slightly over, since settling takes more than the calculation suggests.
Does grey gravel fade in the sun?
The stone itself holds colour. What changes is the surface film of desert dust, which lightens the tone until it is rinsed off.
Plants Care
Watering:
Water your plant once a week or when the soil starts to feel slightly dry on the surface. Keep the soil consistently moist, but be careful not to overwater, as this can cause brown spots and leaf drop. If the leaves become curly or dry, it's a sign that the plant needs water. It's best to water your plant in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler. Always check the soil before watering.
Light:
Provide bright indoor light or indirect sunlight for about 6 to 8 hours a day.
Temperature:
Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid exposing the plant to drafts, as these can cause undesirable temperature fluctuations. Mist the plant occasionally, about twice a week, to help maintain optimal humidity levels.
Fertilizer:
Apply liquid fertiliser every 15 days when the plant is actively growing. For best results, use Folikraft ready-to-use Indoor Plant Food.
