ZZ Plants are one of the most forgiving indoor plants for Dubai. Their thick stems and underground rhizomes store water, meaning they can handle missed waterings and the dry indoor air found in air-conditioned homes and offices.
How to care for 60cm ZZ Plant Pair in the UAE
Place in bright, indirect light, although ZZ Plants will also tolerate lower-light areas. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, then water thoroughly until it runs from the base. In an air-conditioned Dubai home, this will usually mean watering every two to three weeks, depending on light and temperature.
The most common mistake is overwatering. ZZ Plants store plenty of water naturally, so keeping the soil constantly wet can lead to root rot. Avoid leaving the pots sitting in water.
