Description
Gravel Truck Load is landscaping gravel sold in bulk by the ton and delivered by truck, for jobs where bags stop making sense: a full driveway, a villa garden, or a commercial plot.
Choose beige, off-white or grey, in a 1cm to 2cm or 2cm to 4cm grade. A 1 ton load is AED 750, 4 tons is AED 1,600 and 6 tons is AED 2,400, the same price for every colour and grade. Delivery within Dubai is included; loads to other emirates are quoted separately.
Quantity is the usual mistake on a bulk order. Gravel weighs roughly 1.5 to 1.6 tons per cubic metre, so 1 ton covers about 12 to 13 square metres at 5cm deep, 4 tons about 50 square metres and 6 tons about 75. Order to depth, not to area alone: a bed laid at 2cm to 3cm lets the sand underneath show through within a season.
How to lay Gravel Truck Load in the UAE
Clear and level the area, then lay a woven weed membrane before spreading so sand and weeds do not push up through the stone. Spread at 4cm to 5cm for beds and paths. Keep the truck's drop point clear and on hard standing, since a full load is dropped in one heap and moved by barrow from there. Rinse with a hose when construction dust or a shamal dulls the colour.
Where Gravel Truck Load works best
Driveways and parking areas take the 2cm to 4cm grade, which stays loose and drains fast. Paths and seating areas suit 1cm to 2cm, which is easier underfoot. Pale beige and off-white stay cooler in direct sun than grey, which matters around pools and play areas. For smaller jobs, the same stone is sold by the bag in our pebbles and gravel collection.
FAQ
How much gravel do I need?
Measure the area in square metres and plan on roughly 1 ton for every 12 to 13 square metres at 5cm deep. If you send us the size of the area, we will tell you which load to order.
Which grade should I choose?
2cm to 4cm for driveways, parking and drainage beds, where the stone needs to stay put under weight. 1cm to 2cm for paths and areas people walk on barefoot or in sandals.
Is delivery included?
Yes, within Dubai. Loads going to other emirates are quoted separately, so contact us with the location before ordering.
Is bulk cheaper than bags?
Yes. One ton is about fifty 20kg bags, which would cost more bought individually, and the bulk price includes delivery within Dubai.
Plants Care
Watering:
Water your plant once a week or when the soil starts to feel slightly dry on the surface. Keep the soil consistently moist, but be careful not to overwater, as this can cause brown spots and leaf drop. If the leaves become curly or dry, it's a sign that the plant needs water. It's best to water your plant in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler. Always check the soil before watering.
Light:
Provide bright indoor light or indirect sunlight for about 6 to 8 hours a day.
Temperature:
Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid exposing the plant to drafts, as these can cause undesirable temperature fluctuations. Mist the plant occasionally, about twice a week, to help maintain optimal humidity levels.
Fertilizer:
Apply liquid fertiliser every 15 days when the plant is actively growing. For best results, use Folikraft ready-to-use Indoor Plant Food.
