The trunk is the point of it: a broad, deeply fissured base that has taken eight decades to form, carrying a wide, dense silver-green canopy. It is one tree, not a line, and once it is sold there is no second one like it.

Why choose this Spanish olive tree?

Imported from Spain, where olives are grown as old specimen trees rather than young nursery stock

Around 80 years of growth in the trunk, with the swollen, sculpted base that only age produces

Full established canopy, so it reads as a mature tree the day it goes in

Olives are among the most drought tolerant trees that survive a Dubai summer outdoors

Supplied in a root bag, ready to plant

Ideal for

A single feature tree in a villa garden or entrance court

Estate, hotel and development landscaping where one tree has to carry the space

Courtyards and large planters where the trunk is seen up close

Care in the UAE

Plant in full sun in free draining soil, or a raised bed if the ground holds water. Water deeply and then let the root zone dry between waterings; an old olive would rather be slightly dry than wet. Feed once a year in autumn. Prune lightly after the summer to keep the canopy open. A tree of this size is delivered and planted by our team, and we will look at the site first to plan access.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0803/6820/6143/files/spanish-olive-tree-80-year-old-dubai.jpg?v=1790865803
